Português do Brasil

I’m thinking of going to Brazil for a while (months to years), and like the mentality as well as the language. For me it is quite similar sounding to Russian, with lots of “zh” sounds and a nice melody. A friend of mine is from São Paulo, and she wanted to polish her German, so we have been meeting for a year or so now, on a more or less weekly basis, with some breaks inbetween.

I started with WAYK, but as I was not very rooted in the technique, and she had other (and in part very strong) ideas on how to learn, we rather quickly moved into a not very systematic talk mode.
